Attractions at Niagara Falls, NY

Even if you don’t have a passport and can’t get over to the Canadian Side of Niagara Falls, traveling there is so worth it.  Here are a few of the highlights you could choose to experience.

Niagara Falls State Park

  • Observation Tower

  • Visitor Center
on our way to the visitor center

  • Cave of the Winds
  • Goat Island
  • Great Lakes Garden

  • Luna Island
  • Maid of the Mist Boat Tour

    • Niagara Adventure Theatre
    • Niagara Gorge Trailhead Building
    • Trolley
    • Prospect Point

    • Terrapin Point
    • Three Sisters Isand
Our family enjoyed the bolded options.

The most relaxing thing to do there, was to have a picnic on the lawn in the State Park.  After enjoying the churning waters, thunderous roar, and penetrating spray, it was comforting to be on dry ground.  We enjoyed sea gulls and squirrels–both animals I find pesky at home but thoroughly enjoyed while away on vacation.

This was a highlight of the entire day!

There are also many different touring companies that offer packages to enjoy the Falls.  Since we were there for only a day, we decided to choose just one activity.  If you wanted to be soaked for the entire day, there were plenty of options to make that happen.  I chose the top two touring companies that intrigued me.

    • Bedore Tours–picks up at area hotels and does both all American and all Canadian tours.  They have a full day tour that includes lunch!
    • Over the Falls Tours–includes Canadian tours, American tours, Canadian illumination tours, American illumination tours, Premiere Tours that includes the best of both countries, and the ultimate Double Header Tours.
You also never know when you might run into some people you might not see regularly (unless you are my brother and sister in law who live among them)

I visited Niagara Falls from both side, its really worth to visit it from Canadian side. The amazing views of Horseshoe fall from Table rock is really most memorizing moments for any buddy.
