The Minnesota State Fair 2012 edition

This year, we approached the Fair like we did last year.
I only had about 3 hours of sleep the night before, so I was super exhausted to say the least.
However!
With that said, we still had an entirely full and exhilarating time at the fair.  Let me just highlight for you what we experience this year.

 Life size fairy house!

My Little Farm Hands (do this as soon as the fair opens!  WAY less crowded!)

Breakfast at the Order of the Eastern Star Masonic Lodge Diner (I wasn’t intending on that!)

Riding the balloon!  He wasn’t so sure about it!

Excited to be together!  And by themselves!

The swings!  JackJack came out before the ride started because he was scared.

Grandma was able to ride the Tilt A Whirl with THREE grandkids!  They all loved it!

 Finally!  Something he enjoyed doing!

Riding up in the very front of the trolley.

Getting Fair-Dos! Our biggest splurge– Twenty bucks a pop!  But they loved it!

Juggler and all around fun entertainer–Sean Emery

A man was just relaxing in the shade.  Soon, he had two new friends just settle in beside him!

 We watched a rodeo exhibition.

 We petted a horse.

We were approached by random strangers on the street to take a picture with the someone who had colored hair.  Our girls happily obliged!  (these are the things the State Fair is made of!)

The best cotton candy man at the fair!

Watching KARE 11 at the Fair!

And our fair adventure was a BLAZING success!

Next year, I, a native Minnesotan, want to partner with my friend Doug, a native Iowegian, to compare and contrast the Iowa State Fair and the MN State Fair.

I think it will be great fun!

Have fun on the last day of the Great Minnesota Get Together.
