FINGER KNITTING, BRAIDING & TWISTY CORDS

Finger knitting is an absorbing pre-knitting technique but can also be used to make cord belts, necklaces and more. Braid several pieces together for an extra thick cord. We will share with you an amazingly easy but cool techniqe for making twisty cords and even friendship bracelets.

RUSTIC TWIG FAIRY FURNITURE
Ages 7 and up.
Thursday, July 26th 1:30 – 3:30 pm
It’s easy and fun to make fallen twigs into miniature furniture: tables, chairs, benches and more. We will embellish our creations with moss, pinecone pieces, acorn caps and more. A low temp glue gun will be used.
Fairy Cottage
Do you prefer a smaller, easier project that takes less time to complete? Come anytime during Fairy Fortnight and decorate a pre-made wooden house with bark, moss, shells, sticks and more. Ages 7 and up. $20. Drop in during store open hours anytime Friday July 20th – Saturday August 4th.
New – Woodworking Class! 
Sword Making
Due to popular demand, we have added a wooden sword class to our July line up. We will rasp, plane and sand a precut wooden “sword blank” into a smooth finished saber. Woodworking can be challenging but the results are so very satisfying! Please bring along a wood clamp or two from home if possible.Ages 9 and up. $39. Two sessions.
