We all know that drinking water is really good for our bodies.
How do you try to get enough (approximately 8 cups, give or take, right?)?
The first thing I do is forget the 8 cups rule. I try for 4.
That’s right! I don’t even fake it! I go for four and I am proud of it.
I figure if I get 4 cups of water in than the other four cups can come from juice (which I don’t drink a lot of), milk, and fruits and veggies–even soup. You gotta count soup! I am trying to start this thing of drink tea (non-caffeinated) each morning, so there is another 8 ounces. Although right now I’m kind of just gagging it down. We’ll see how this goes. I’ve only just started (read yesterday was my first day) so I’m trying to give it a fair shot.
But back to my 4 cups. So each morning, I fill up my 32 ounce water bottle. And that is my goal. I drink one of those and I have achieved my daily goal!
I tote around an old Nalgene bottle. You know the ones. There was an uproar about the bHp or something with these bottles and baby bottles leeching toxins into your water and ultimately into your body.
Now, let me tell you, I know I have just warned you yesterday to not believe everything you read on the internet when it comes to your health. I have from a credible source (my husband who works in the baby gear industry) the facts about these bottles.
The toxins will only leech into the water if you have scratched the inside of the bottle and heat it up. (I’m not sure if it’s heated up only in the microwave or not).
I for one wash my water bottle with a wash cloth and don’t heat my water bottle.
So my husband’s not worried. And neither am I.
What is your opinion?
