A GiveAway: MyMemories

Are you anything like me?  You take picture after picture because your kids are so dang cute, but you leave those pictures on the computer or worse, on the camera, until you have so many pictures you don’t know what to do with them.

I have a really good friend who is a scrapbooking consultant and she puts me to shame with all the scrapbooking she actually gets done.  She hosts girls evenings so that we can get together and spur each other on toward love and good deeds… Or at the very least a scrapbook.

I haven’t gone.

I’m too ashamed!  (that, and it never seems to work out for me to go)

I used to be a consultant.

I no longer am.

Because I am lazy.

Oh, yes!  Lazy.  If I can find 10 minutes everyday to clean the basement, I should be able to find 10 minutes everyday to scrapbook.  Except that it takes 20 minutes to find all my stuff and then another 20 minutes to pack it all up.  Before you know it, it’s been an hour and I haven’t gotten anything down on the page.

But I have to do something.  JackJack deserves a baby book just like everyone else.  I am determined.  And I want to make sure our family has documentation that they existed.

In 1000 years, unless the Lord returns first, I would like someone to pull my scrapbooks out of the rubble and say, “This is what a family in 2011 looked like.”

You know, because paper will last 1000 years.
Who wants to be green anyway?
 Paper must NOT be biodegradeable.
My legacy must live on!

Let me introduce you to MyMemories.
They are a pretty cool online company that lets you download their digital scrapbook software for a super reasonable price.  And it has lots of features.  Let me show you what I was able to figure out in 20 minutes (you must remember, I’m not the brightest bulb when it comes to computer related stuff–for most of you, this would take you about 5 minutes!  And they offer tutorials on http://www.youtube.com/ but let me remind you, I’m lazy)

They are offering a giveaway to help you maintain your family’s memories with their My Memories Suite.

Here are the ways you can participate.  Leave a comment for each one you do.
