Home Alone

photo by chinesedubbed (betcha could tell huh)

You know you are home alone with the kids when:

  1. You hear whimpering from your littlest baby, and you look over to see a dogpile of your children with the baby on the BOTTOM!
  2. You decide not to fight and plug in the vaccuum cleaner to let Dash (remember he is 2) turn it on and play with it for the time it takes you to bake cookies just so that you CAN bake cookies.
  3. You unknowingly fall asleep on your kid’s floor after you put them to bed only to wake up an hour later with completely numb hands.  Then, you walk around in a stupor unable to move your arms!

Not that this has ever happened to me (especially not last night!).

You have so much described my life right now. Only mine includes change wet pants, sit on potty, repeat.

  2. I've heard of using the TV as a babysitter, but never a vacuum cleaner. *grin*
I'm envisioning how you could work this one to your advantage. Show him how much fun it is to push that thing around! *wink*

Isn't it amazing how things change in life… the vacuum cleaner made me laugh out loud and falling asleep in the most interesting places just proves life is busy and adventuresome!!
