operation christmas child: 2009 edition

once again this year, we participated in making christmas boxes for operation christmas child. it is SO fun to get the kids involved. we prayed for these boxes.
in fact, we gave our little girls names to pray for them easier: chela and rosita. they probably won’t have the names chela and rosita, but it sure made it easier to pray for them. and wordgirl told EVERYONE from the salvation army bell ringer to the radio station host that her box was for chela and princess pea’s box was for rosita.

dropping the box off at ktis.

enjoying cookies at the ktis open house!

jake sommers is the afternoon dj for ktis and he remembered dash from last year because jake stole dash away from me. he was very very bald and so he took him and had another guy take pictures of dash with jason who was bald, too. (i don’t know jason either). anyway, my superstars are famous!
it’s a joy to serve YHWH and to get my superstars involved. i’ve really felt the desire to worship YHWH through seving him! i want to do MORE to serve the Lord than just make a couple boxes yearly. i want to have a true servant’s heart, but this is an okay way to start.
