I just spent almost an hour blogging about our life in June, but then the website decided that it didn’t want to work. It was already a very brief glimpse of our past month, but now it’s going to be even more brief!
This past weekend, Maya started to say shoe, patza (pizza), bap-pa (grandpa), and ack (stick). She also started trying to jump. It’s very cute! She doesn’t have any air-time, but she is trying to do it! Also, she went swimming in her little pool for the first time. She loved it! It was great!
- June 9-11: Wilson Family reunion–for Chris’s mom’s side! Super fun! But then they always are. 4 of the families are pregnant and 3 of us are due within a month of each other.
- June 19-23: Sports Camp–this year we put it on completely by ourselves. I was the director and Monday was a nightmare and Tuesday morning was emotional, but the rest of the week seemed to sail a lot more smoothly. We were very short on soccer coaches, but our friend, Jim, came to help for the whole week. It was such a blessing to have him there.
- June 29: Lydia Doris was born to our friends, Andy and Dacia. She was due July 18, but decided she wanted to have a name in June! I had the priviledge of being at the hospital for her birth! It was so exciting! When the nurse came to tell me they were pushing, I did a dance and the people in the waiting room told me to sit down or I was going to have my baby!
- June 29-July5: Chris’s parents came up for a visit and brought our Saturn to us since we left it there when we took their van off their hands! We were also able to put our garage door up! It was a 3 day project, but they did it! It is awesome! Now we need to clean the garage! AAAAHH!
It was a very busy month, but one full of memories!
